Flexible hardware for your energy management

Integrations

The energy transition requires flexibility. Locations are growing, technology is developing, and energy assets are becoming increasingly diverse. That's why Maxem is built as an open and brand-independent platform. With support for more than 40 charging station manufacturers and a wide range of energy hardware, Maxem brings charging infrastructure, energy management, generation, and storage together in one integrated ecosystem.

Complete freedom in hardware choice

Many energy and charging platforms are built around one brand or closed ecosystem. That limits flexibility as soon as circumstances change.

With Maxem, you choose the hardware that best fits your location, ambitions, and budget. Whether it's charging stations, energy meters, batteries, or solar panels: Maxem ensures that everything works together within one central environment. No vendor lock-in. But the freedom to choose the hardware that fits your situation.

One platform for all your energy assets

One platform for all your energy assets

Maxem integrates with the main components within a modern energy infrastructure. All integrated assets are centrally controlled from the Maxem Energy Cloud. This creates an overview of all energy flows and a single control layer for the entire location.

  • Charging stations (AC & DC): Maxem communicates with charging stations from more than 40 manufacturers via OCPP. This allows charging sessions to be managed, performance to be monitored, and charging capacity to be smartly controlled, completely brand-independent. Both AC and DC chargers are supported.
  • Energy meters: for real-time energy control, Maxem reads measurement data via Modbus. This provides continuous insight into available capacity, and power can be dynamically distributed across connected assets (Dynamic Load Balancing). Both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP are supported.
  • Battery systems (BESS): by integrating batteries via Modbus into the energy management, stored energy can be intelligently deployed at times when demand is high, grid capacity is limited, or energy costs can be optimized.
  • Solar energy (PV): PV installations are also included in energy control. This ensures that locally generated energy is optimally utilized within the total energy system.

Structured integrations, guaranteed reliability

An integration is only valuable if it works reliably. That is why every new hardware integration undergoes an extensive validation and testing process before it becomes available within the Maxem platform.

From technical verification to practical tests: this is how we guarantee the performance, stability, and reliability needed for business-critical energy infrastructure.

Energy managed as one noemen wij dat.
