Cookies

Our website, platform and app use cookies, but not a cookie banner, as we do not use cookies that require your consent. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer, tablet or telephone at the request of a provider of website content and can be retrieved and read by the relevant party. This 'party' is Maxem, but also third parties that provide certain services within our website. Examples of this are Atlassian, for our Service Desk, and Google, which makes analyzes about website use.

Two categories of cookies are used on our website, on our platform and in our app: “Functional cookies” and “Anonymous Analytical cookies”.

Functional cookies

This category includes the cookies that are necessary for the website, platform and app to work properly. You can think of a cookie that keeps track of your cookie preferences, cookies that can distinguish the tickets submitted by you from tickets submitted by others, or cookies to record your logged in status.

No permission is required for the use of these cookies. They are placed automatically if necessary and you cannot turn them off.

Anonymous analytical cookies

We use anonymous analytical cookies, among other things, to keep track of visitor statistics. This gives us a better insight into the functioning of our website, the platform and the app. We use this insight to improve the user experience on our website. We use Google Analytics for this and have set it up in such a way that all cookies collect user information in an anonymous way.

Marketing and other tracking cookies

Maxem attaches great importance to protecting your privacy. That is why our website, the platform and the app do not use cookies that track your surfing behavior over the internet in a non-anonymous way.

Control your cookies and cookie settings

There are several ways in which you can influence the use of cookies within our website and platform:

  • Consult and change your cookie settings for this website or platform
If you want to know how your cookie preference is set for our website, click on settings in your browser at the top right. Then choose 'Privacy and/or security' and then 'Cookies' to view, change and see exactly which cookies are used.
  • Delete cookies
Because the cookies are stored on your own computer, tablet or telephone, you can only delete them yourself. You must remove this per device (computer, tablet, phone) and within it per web browser (Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc). The way this should be done differs slightly by device and by web browser. Usually this is a function from the Settings menu called something like “Clear browsing data” or “Clear history”.

Maxem Energy Cloud

In order to be able to handle charging sessions, we use the hidden ID of charging cards to verify whether the charging card used is safe for charging. For this we only process anonymous data, without it being possible to link it to a person.

However, it is possible that a charge card is indemnified against costs for charging, for this the charge card must be registered in our platform. For this we need to process a number of data from you.
